…then you might be the perfect candidate for a mobile swimming instructor or lifeguard position with SwimZin Mobile Swimming Lessons. We are hiring mobile swimming instructors and lifeguards in Maryland, Virginia, and DC!
As a mobile swimming instructor, you will travel to your clients’ home pools or community pools in your area and deliver customized swim lessons based on their individual needs and goals.
You will also be responsible for ensuring a safe and fun learning environment for your students, as well as providing feedback and progress reports.
As a mobile lifeguard, you will be providing a watchful eye over swimmers during pool parties, summer camps, and other events that need the skills you provide.
Key Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- A valid swim instructor certification from a recognized organization (such as Red Cross, YMCA, etc.) or relevant experience
- A valid lifeguard certification or basic safety instructor certification (or willing to get certified within 30 days of being hired)
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- A clean background check and references
- A friendly, professional and patient personality
- A passion for teaching and swimming
